Support for Goodell Shows NFL’s Protection Schemes; Addressing Spygate and More

Great article found on the BaltimoreSun.com by Peter Schmuck…and yes that is his name.

Schmuck is wrong however in this comment unrelated to the article;

News item: Detroit Lions president Matt Millen conceded Friday that his 31-81 record with the team is “beyond awful.”

My take: Millen is being much too hard on himself. If you consider just how awful the team has been under his watch, 31 wins over seven seasons isn’t half bad.

Matt Millen should have been fired a long time ago…saying he should be fired now is a large understatement.

Roger Goodell Earned $6.5 Million for 1st 7 Months on the Job

 believe it or not the $6.5 million is actually low for what Goodell will be getting over the rest of his contract.  Like most NFL players and other athletes Goodells contract is prorated and he will receive $11.2 million annually.  Isn’t that kind of rediculous?

Pacman Jones is still under suspension upheld by the NFL and Roger Goodell.  Jones is restricted from working out at the Titans facilities.
